Unflavored Gelatin is best known as a gelling agent in cooking. This Unflavored Gelatin is useful in many foods such as jams, jellies, yogurts, cream cheese and even margarine. This Unflavored Gelatin acts as a stabilizer or thickener and is often used in reduced fat products to create a desired texture.
Directions: Use 1 tablespoon of gelatin to 2 cups of liquid.
When a recipe calls for 1 envelope of plain gelatin, use 1 tablespoon.
Ingredients: Type A, 250 bloom, pork skin gelatin.

This stuff was hard to find. I am allergic to beef and while some have told me it is ok with gelatin, don’t want to risk it. It is a better quality than the one I was using that is no longer made. I have some every morning and it really helps my joints and fingernails. If I stop, they start splitting.

It is hard to find pork gelatin. I use some a day as a supplement. This time it came in nice little containers. Very happy.
