This place is amazing. I was visiting family in Iowa (I live in Chicago) and it was a totally different experience from anything near my home. As a quilter I was so excited to see all of the available fabric, quilting and sewing supplies. Since the Jo-Ann fabric stores have closed availability of fabric in my area is pretty slim. The Cafe serves fabulous food, especially the deli sandwiches. If you shop here make sure you allow plenty of time because there is a lot to see. I appreciated all of the homemade food choices such as breads, pies and other bakery items, pasta, jams, jelly's, etc. There is a large selection of unique teas for the tea lover and a whole aisle of candy for the chocolate lover. On my first visit I spent about 2 hours just walking up and down the aisles enjoying all the unique selections to choose from. Went home with a couple of bags of goodies and will definitely shop there again on my next visit to Iowa.

Love the new larger store so much! Great deals, great service, & wide range of merchandise from food, home decor, Beautiful Tea sets, handmade furniture & quilts, crafting & sewing section, shoes & boots, clothing, Gifts, Toys, & they added a restaurant! Our favorite place to stock our deep freezer.

We went on a rainy Saturday, which I don't recommend, since it was so busy they had trouble keeping items on the shelves. I was amazed by how happy, fast, and friendly the checkers were, since there were lines at every checkout. I didn't interact with one person, employee or customer, who seemed frustrated. Allow enough time to shop, because otherwise you'll miss some good deals. When checking out, I saw a lot of good stuff in other carts that I had to back for. Excellent prices on frozen sausage patties, bacon, & ham. A few really inexpensive items with expiration dates past or close, which may or may not matter, depending on item. Common sense layout with like items together. Very neat and clean.

A huge store full of deals. Well worth the 2 hour drive from Des Moines. Bring a cooler.They have lots of unique and hard to find items.Update: stopped again 11/4, more awesome stuff. A gallon of Madegascar vanilla extract for $105 and beef rib loins for $4.99lb. Love this place!
