When it comes to making a bowl of popcorn that’s poppin’ good, choose to pop it your way! Pop it in the microwave, air or electric popper, or on the stovetop. If you’re using an electronic or stovetop popper, we suggest using our perfect pop method: place your go-to oil (we recommend Dutchman’s coconut oil!) and 3 kernels in your popper over medium heat. When all 3 pop, add the rest of the kernels to ensure quick popping!

 

Why is my Buttery Coconut Popcorn Oil Liquid? 

 

Dutchman’s Buttery Popcorn Coconut oil will naturally change to liquid whenever it is above 75 degrees F. which is perfectly normal and safe to use. When solid, it will be thick and creamy and may be lumpy in parts. When liquid though, it will be a dark orange cloudy color and easy to pour. If you want to change the state of the oil you have bought, then you can simply heat it or cool it and the good news is that it can be stored either way. Dutchman’s Buttery Coconut Oil does not need to be refrigerated if you are happy to consume it in its liquid form, but it shouldn’t be kept in direct sunlight.

    This Oil is colored with beta carotene the same stuff with which carrots are naturally colored so your popcorn will have that movie theater popcorn color without all the nasty artificial coloring. And since we re talking coconut oil here, it ll remain a solid when it s cooler than 76 degrees, so don t be alarmed if you open the jar to a liquid oil in this warm summer heat. You can simply store your coconut oil in the pantry alongside your other oils.

    This buttery coconut oil + Flavacol popcorn salt + Amish Country popcorn is THE BEST! Over high heat on the stovetop, I melt 1 to 1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut oil, then stir in 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. Flavacol. When hot, I add 1/4 cup popcorn kernels. A fast, fresh & delicious snack. Dutchman’s shipping was prompt and everything was well packed and received with no damage or leakage. Would definitely order from them again.

    This coconut oil is the best. Others charge twice as much for the same thing. The company is run by Mennonites and they will not gouge prices as it is against their religion. This oil is excellent with popcorn. Add flavocol and it will be the taste you find in movie theaters. I cannot recommend this product or this company enough.
