It’s great for picnics, camping, fishing and hunting trips, tailgating parties, game day and on-the-go snacks.
It comes vacuum-sealed to preserve the freshness and moistness.
Perishable once opened so it must be Consumed, Refrigerated or Frozen ASAP
If you’re not going to eat your beef jerky right away, it’s best to freeze it. Beef jerky’s shelf life can be extended to 7 – 12 months if frozen properly.
Vacuum-sealed packages can be put in the freezer as-is.
Opened bags or bags filled with air should be placed in an air-tight container to prevent freezer burn.

Price is now $7.49/lb which is slightly higher than what I first paid at $72.99/lb – The Hot and Sweet flavor was drier, and this tastes, looks, and feels like BBQ ribs. A little too moist for me initially, but will hopefully dry out more in freezer storage. Quality is a Good, but please do not raise the prices any more than $7.49/lb. Thanks, B+

Very good product for the price and FYI kippered means its smoked not dehydrated. I vacuum seal it in smaller portions around 13 ounces and freeze it. Take a package out and leave it on the counter overnight and the next day you’re eating jerky.

I’m no culinary or forensic scientist..so I cannot judge the product but I can discern a good deal on beef jerky comparitively. $75 for 10lbs of beef jerky(I don’t know if it is beef honestly) is by comparison to my findings a good deal. I find the product strange and seems to be processed and have strange bits of fat in it. It keeps well with little preparation or accessory if placed in a dark and closed(not necessarily air tight) container or compartment. Mine kept about a month so far. Filling and satisfactory taste. Not certain of it’s health or dietary benefits or any information to the contrary but it certainly is consumable and I find it a worthy purchase and likely will again. Thank you and have a good day. (Just a note…I frequently give a neutral rating to products I review and find the descriptive much more informative than the rating system itself. An average or neutral rating for me is as high as I prefer to go in almost every case unless there is some obvious outstanding or excellent quality to a product. Which I rarely if ever…no..never..can afford. Thank you.)

This jerky is AMAZING! I often share the different kinds of jerky that I purchase ONLY from Dutchmans. I don’t buy any other brands.
