A story of a hardworking sensitive boy who was very hurt by his fathers resistance and indifference. Follow Millard with his inner struggles which eventually took him to the literal battlefields of WWII. Even while unconverted, the prayers and love of his devoted, godly mother not only kept Millard from following his army companions lifestyle, but also kept him alive through intense, front-line battles on the war. He finally yielded his pain and bitterness to the Lord, and accepted Jesus as his Savior.
