The triple action of the dasher helps maintain smaller crystals, so the ice cream is very smooth. We have been making ice cream for years with many other brands of churns. The Immergood is by far the best unit we ever used. We have worn through several canisters because of the friction at the bottom pivot point. The extra thickness at the bottom of the Immergood will prevent that from ever happening, to say nothing of the nylon bushings to reduce the friction. We are very impressed with the quality of construction and we brag about our “Cadillac” to all our friends. Thank you for a truly well-made product. The only negative is the capacity of the tub is so large that we have to use more ice than the cheaper units, but that is offset by not having to crush the ice to prevent jamming. It’s a small problem having to make more ice, but the unit works so well, we won’t complain. Thanks again for the quality workmanship.
