Ice Cream Maker Features
IMMERGOOD MOTOR, 110 volt Household current, built from the ground up to be strong yet full of features. Motor has an On/Off Switch, thermostatic safety shutoff.
STAINLESS STEEL, Yup, the motor housing, dasher, can, handles – everything that can be made stainless steel. No alloys or zinc plating here.
TRIPLE ACTION DASHER real Stainless Steel AND triple action. The Can turns CCW, The scraper turns CW, The center turns CCW. This constant folding technique makes Creamy smooth ice cream.
LEAK PROOF TUB Built with poly, made with Roto-Mold technology. After molding, the tub is filled with Premium insulation.
TUB CENTER A long life plastic with lubrication properties, this pivot point the can sits on will never rust and is guaranteed to last a long, long, time.

Instructions
Start by choosing a recipe (recipe book included).
Fill your can with the refrigerated mix and place the can in the tub and attach the motor.
Fill the tub 2/3 full of ice. Add 1 cup of salt on the ice.
Fill the tub up to the top of the can with ice. Add 3 cups of salt on top of the ice.
Plug in the motor, turn the motor ON
Top off the tub with ice, add more ice and salt as needed.
Be sure the drain holes stays open. This lets the water run off as the ice melts. Otherwise, the salty water will end up in the ice cream. Churning will take 15-30 minutes. It depends on the salt brine, and the recipe for the ice cream used.
You will likely find that the insulated tub will allow ice to last longer and ice cream to freezer faster, compared to the wooden tubs of yesterday.

This motor is VERY heavy in weight. That’s good! Everything seems to be high quality. Looks very well built with solid insulation! Imagine….made in the USA!! Appears it should last a lifetime!
Made our first batch of chocolate homemade ice cream. Outstanding! We’re in our 70’s and haven’t had great ice cream like this since childhood! What a treat!!
This freezer worked extremely well. Motor is exceptionally quiet. My husband was just around the corner in the living room and couldn’t hear the motor running at all. The ice cream didn’t get as hard as we’ve experienced with our two old hand crank units but I suspect it’ll take some trials to figure out the salt/ice ratios. It does take quite a lot of salt. We followed the instructions and guidelines that came with it so we will alter ratios from there.
We bought the additional insulated lid to cover the ice cream so we could leave it in the ice/salt mixture overnight. It’s early spring so it stayed plenty cold outside. Worked very well with not melting!! Will have to see how things go in the summer heat. We are exceedingly pleased with our purchase! No more chemical additives or heavy sugar loads in commercial ice cream!!
ONE WORD OF CAUTION….I initially filled our canister about 2/3-3/4 of the way and it expanded out the top as it froze. I had to stop the freezer and remove a couple of cups. When I restarted the motor it immediately filled the cannister again. I suggest not filling the container past 2/3 full to hopefully avoid my calamity. 😆
