Our new freezer was shipped promptly, excellent response and communication, and it even arrived two days early. We made our first batch, using my grandma’s philly light recipe, and it was excellent. The workmanship and quality of the Immergood freezer is absolutely first rate. It reminded me of the original white mountain that I used to sit on 65 years ago, as a ten year old, while my uncles took turns at the crank. By the way, the cranking mechanism is much smoother and lighter than I remembered. Really no reason to buy the electric model. I discovered the Dutchman’s Store quite by accident, what a pleasant surprise!

We’ve made strawberry and mint chocolate chip ice cream already and I have photos to send to PROVE IT! At least prove how much fun it was!
And we’ll be making Burnt Sugar ice cream (like my mother made when she was a little girl on the Kaibab Indian Reservation, North Rim of the Grand Canyon) real soon. We love both of our Immergood Amish Ice Cream Freezers! They are the best, and will last generations, I believe!
